Terms of service

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and MyNextCar ("we", "us"). Together with our Privacy Policy they govern your use of mynextcar.ie (the "Service").

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under Irish law. Dealers and garages must be lawfully registered to trade in Ireland.

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Notify us promptly at hello@mynextcar.ie if you suspect unauthorised access.

You're responsible for the accuracy and legality of any listing, photo or message you submit. Listings must describe a real vehicle you have the right to sell, include honest details and reflect a genuine asking price in euro.

By submitting content you grant MyNextCar a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and promote that content on the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

Trade sellers must identify themselves as such and comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and any other applicable Irish or EU consumer-protection law. Misrepresenting a trade listing as private is prohibited.

MyNextCar is a marketplace — we don't sell vehicles ourselves and we don't inspect them. Always view a car in person, check ownership, finance status, NCT history and ideally arrange an independent inspection before paying.

The AI assistant offers suggestions based on live listings. It can make mistakes and is not professional advice. Always verify details directly with the seller and use your own judgement.

Listing on MyNextCar may be free or paid depending on the plan in effect at the time. Current fees, where they apply, are shown before you publish a listing. All amounts are in euro and, where applicable, include Irish VAT.

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent listings.
• List stolen vehicles or vehicles subject to undisclosed finance.
• Harass, threaten or spam other users.
• Scrape, copy or republish listings without our permission.
• Attempt to breach the security of the Service or interfere with other users.
• Use the Service to launder money or evade tax.

The MyNextCar brand, design and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

We may suspend or remove listings or accounts that breach these Terms or appear fraudulent, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, reliability or fitness of any listing or vehicle described on the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, our total liability to you arising out of your use of the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of €100 or the fees you paid us in that period.

We are not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers, the condition of any vehicle, or any indirect or consequential loss.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
